The size and proportions of a good "Snow-Saarloos"
This youngster is 76 cm at withers. He has long and vertical positioned metetarsal bones. His joints are supple and after enough exercise and enough fresh raw meat diet he has developed a substantial layer of strong muscles. He is NO show-dog; rather a product of nature. A typical Nordenden Wolfdog.
No Need To Visit The Gym
After hours of hard work braking a trail with the use of snowshoes we can enjoy a lovely trip on a smooth track. However, next day the trail may be completely gone due to new snow-fall. The wolfdogs easily gives up crawling forward searching for the old track and trails behind me for a more comfortable walk. But on it again, and again, just for the fun of self-torture :-) (and no need to visit the gym - for sure).
